The SIR20116 Certificate II in Community Pharmacy is entry level focused and includes general retail skills/knowledge within a pharmacy environment and limited pharmacy skills including Support the supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines. In the event there is no public program commencing, this qualification can be delivered via Distance Education with support from a Facilitator. Some classroom based or work placement commitments may be required.

In order to complete this qualification several units will require assessment on job within a Pharmacy.  For this reason TIME is currently only offering this program to candidates who currently work in a pharmacy role or are willing and able to source and undertake a work placement within a pharmacy.

Course Information

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. People may enter this qualification with limited or no vocational experience and without a lower level qualification.

After achieving this qualification, people may progress to a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or to Certificate III qualifications other service industry fields.

Available under a contract of training.

Qualification Requirements

The SIR20116 Certificate II in Community Pharmacy comprises of twelve (12) units made up of four (4) core units and eight (8) elective units.
