Time Education & Training are delivering programs for the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.

The Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33015) reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centered support.

Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Home & Community
Class attendance: 3 days per week, 9:30am - 2:30pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Home & Community
Class attendance: 3 days per week, 9:30am - 2:30pm - (Core Units) - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 
Class attendance: 1 day per fortnight, 9:00am - 5:00pm - (Elective Units) -  Thursdays

In addition to the written work assignments this will include 120 hours of work placement (unpaid) with a suitable host employer where your skills can be demonstrated and assessed. 

Qualification Requirements

To achieve a Certificate III in Individual Support a total of thirteen (13) units of competency must be completed, made up of seven (7) core units and six (6) elective units for Ageing, Home & Community and seven (7) elective units for Disability, Home & Community.
