The SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality is a great platform for commencing work in the Hospitality Industry. It reflects the role of individuals who use a defined and limited range of hospitality operational skills. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks using practical skills and basic industry knowledge. It provides individuals with knowledge and skills for initial work, community involvement, further learning and is an ideal pathway to work in various hospitality settings such as clubs, cafes, restaurants, hotels and coffee shops. You would work under close supervision and are given clear directions to complete tasks.
In the event there is no public program commencing, this qualification can be delivered via Distance Education with support from a Facilitator. Some classroom based or work placement commitments may be required.

Course Information

The SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality comprises of twelve (12) units made up of six (6) core units and six (6) elective units.
