The SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality qualification is designed for skilled operators who use a range of well-developed hospitality skills. They use discretion and judgement and have a sound knowledge of industry operations. They work with some independence and under limited supervision and may provide operational advice and support to team members.
In the event there is no public program commencing, this qualification can be delivered via Distance Education with support from a Facilitator. Some classroom based or work placement commitments may be required.

Course Information

There are no entry requirements for this qualification and individuals may undertake it with limited or no vocational experience and without a relevant lower level qualification.

After achieving SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality, individuals could progress to SIT40416 Certificate IV in Hospitality, or to Certificate IV qualifications in other service industry fields.

Qualification Requirements

To achieve a Certificate III in Hospitality a total of fifteen (15) units must be completed made up of seven (7) core units and eight (8) elective units.
