The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the minimum requirement to work as a facilitator/assessor within the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector. Students will develop the ability to confidently and professionally plan for and deliver training to individuals, small work groups and classes of varying sizes. Incorporating the technical skills and knowledge necessary, graduates will be able to develop and administer assessments against nationally recognised qualifications and units. Whilst there are no specific entry requirements it is important to note that in addition to this qualification, a graduate would need to also hold the qualification/s or equivalent competencies of the qualification/units that he or she intends to deliver and/or assess.
In the event there is no public program commencing, this qualification can be delivered via Distance Education with support from a Facilitator. Some classroom based or work placement commitments may be required.

Course Information

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

After achieving this qualification candidates may undertake TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development or TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education & Training.

Qualification Requirements

To be awarded the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment competency must be achieved in ten (10) units made up of seven (7) core units and three (3) elective units.
