Certificate III in Individual Support
The Certificate III in Individual Support reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who provide person-centred support to people who may require it due to ageing, disability or some other reason. In addition to developing the necessary skills for providing physical support and personal care, you will also learn how to help foster independence and wellbeing of those you support and assist them to live a full life.

Units of competency
The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support comprises of fifteen (15) units – nine (9) core units and six (6) elective units.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. This qualification is suitable for those entering the Aged Care and/or Disability sector, or who are currently working and want to become qualified.
This qualification includes a mandatory minimum 120 hour work placement.
