Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
The Diploma of Vocational Education and Training reflects the roles of experienced individuals in a variety of vocational education and training (VET) sector job roles. These may include analysing training needs and designing training solutions and products, evaluating the effectiveness of training and assessment validation, developing and implementing training and assessment strategies, leading and mentoring other facilitators and assessors, and interpreting compliance requirements.

Units of competency
The TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training comprises of twelve (12) units – three (3) core units and nine (9) elective units.
Those entering this qualification must be able to demonstrate current VET skills and knowledge relevant to the specialisation(s) chosen in this qualification. Some units also have a prerequisite unit derived from the TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
