Units of competency

The CHCSS00130 Individual Support – Disability Skill Set comprises of four (4) units.

 

It is designed for those who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Individual Support, Community Services, Health or related field, in an area involving the provision of direct client care and support.

If you have been working in the sector without a qualification our team can discuss if your experience will be suitable for enrolment into the program.

Verification of either of the above situations will be required when enrolling into the program.

Possible Pathways

Further training pathways from this qualification include the BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.

Career choices

This Skill Set is ideal for those who are working or have experience in roles where they provide person-centred support to people following an individualised plan and would now like to develop their skill and knowledge in providing this support to people with a disability.
