Introducing Anna Marcoionni

Anna’s passion for Childhood Education began with hands-on experience as an educator, and over thirty-eight (38) years she has built a career dedicated to supporting and empowering others in this industry sector.  Anna has worked extensively with educators to promote inclusive practices, including developing service support plans to secure Government funding for additional staffing, ensuring every child can thrive in an inclusive environment.

Now, in her role as a Senior Specialist Facilitator and Coordinator of the Children’s Services Department with Time Education & Training, Anna has the privilege of sharing her knowledge, expertise and experience with others, helping them become confident, informed professionals. She believes that working with children is a lifelong learning journey and is committed to being current with best practices across the industry sector.

Anna’s qualifications include:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50113)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
  • Trained in “Through their eyes” – developed by the Department of Human Services (SA) and offered by Time Education & Training. This program aims to explore – recognising, responding to and reporting child abuse

Anna’s personal interests include:

  • Cooking for her large extended family – it brings her joy to see other enjoying her food
  • She values time spent with close friends
  • Loves meeting new people, and enjoys exchanging stories and recipes
  • While Anna prefers not to travel in the air, she takes great pleasure in exploring the many beautiful regions of South Australia
