Introducing Bianca Alcantara
Bianca is a Specialist Facilitator at Time Education & Training. As an Enrolled Nurse for over 12 years in the aged care sector she is extremely passionate about the industry. She loves helping people and found it incredibly rewarding to support others through their different stages of life.
She has worked across a range of aged care organisations and spent many years as an agency nurse throughout Adelaide. That experience has provided her with great insight into how different facilities work and it has assisted her to understand the bigger picture when it comes to challenges and opportunities in the sector.
One of the things Bianca particularly enjoys is mentoring. Over the years she had the opportunity to guide and support many students and new team members. She believes in creating a positive and supportive space where people feel confident to learn and grow. This passion led her to want to share her wealth of knowledge and experience, and to move into training and assessing. Her goal is to inspire the next generation of aged care, disability and healthcare workers. Supporting a strong and capable workforce in these sectors is something she feels deeply about.
Bianca’s qualifications include:
- Diploma of Nursing (HLT51607)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) (currently)
Bianca’s personal interests include:
- Keeps fit and active with Pilates and running in weekend park runs.
- Golf, though with a young family finding time for a full round can be challenging.
- Spending time with her family and her hilarious and very naughty Cavoodle, Peanut.
