Introducing Hamish Kerr

Hamish is an Education Technology Analyst with knowledge and experience in the Business, Retail and Vocational Education industry sectors.

Hamish’s VET career journey started when he was still working in the cinema industry in a supervisor position. Having played vital roles in the training of new staff in the business, the companies foray into school-based traineeships started his path towards becoming a vocational facilitator.

Before long, Hamish had begun working in a training program administrative role helping to manage a government-funded foundation skills program and had begun studying towards his goal of being TAE qualified.

Whilst completing his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Hamish’s passion quickly became the design and development of training programs with a particular focus on the use of digital technologies and supporting learners to grow their literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills.

Hamish is of the belief that digital technology is part of the future and takes great pride in finding new ways to automate, digitise or otherwise innovate business processes to assist us in delivering personal and face-to-face learning. Thankfully, he is committed to growing the digital ability of the people he works with as much as the learners in our programs.
