Introducing John Heidt

John is a Human Resource practitioner of thirty-five years standing and has developed a reputation within the business community as an efficient business analyst capable of exploring opportunities for business growth and prosperity. John’s HR experiences began in the South Australian Police Department. As a Senior Sargeant Training and Development he was responsible for developing training programs and resources for police personnel throughout the state, as well as engaging in specific high-level training needs for police specialists throughout Australia.  He transitioned into the vocational and education sector in 1996.

Living by the philosophy of “There is no such thing as a problem, only a challenge”, John has successfully consulted with a diverse range of businesses, improving productivity and profitability through the development of management and employees.

Over the past thirty years, John has worked closely with large organisations to assist them in profiling their workforce and business management structures to identify management efficiencies and opportunities for strategic development. He has provided support to business throughout Australia primarily within Retailing, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Tourism, Building, Transport, Government and Education Industries.

As a qualified auditor, John has also assisted the Pharmacy Industry throughout Australia in establishing performance benchmarks under the Quality Care framework, endorsed by the Federal Government and Pharmaceutical Industry. Additionally, as a corporate analyst and strategist, John has assisted the grain bulk-handling industry in establishing benchmark performance requirements in the storage, transport and distribution of grain and other food related commodities to both the local, interstate and international markets.

John is a resource developer who writes all learning resources across different training packages so that learning materials are up to date with current practices.

With the background and range of experience that John has developed over the years he has become a key specialist within the Australian Vocational Education and Training sector, particularly in the area of Quality and Compliance.
